Dr. Douglas Chin is one of the few Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeons in the country devoted to the reconstruction of the hands. Dr. Chin’s knowledge and experience are shared in over 50 scientific and medical publications and lectures. He is known throughout the community for his sensitivity to the needs of each and every patient, his individualized care, and his dedication to providing the highest quality of medical and aesthetic care. Licensed by the State of California as a Qualified Medical Evaluator and Certified by the American College of Disability Evaluating Physicians, Dr. Chin is a recognized authority on workers’ compensation issues, industrial injuries, and upper extremity disabilities.

This is a note to say thanks to Dr. Chin, who I saw in February 2013 for a second opinion. I subsequently had hand surgery in April (in Copenhagen, in a procedure reminiscent of the dark ages). This surgery opened my joint capsule. I did NOT pursue finding or pinning the bone back to the joint. Following physiotherapy, I have near-normal mobility, though the finger is, of course, not straight. Just a note to say thanks for your care and advice!

His staff is polite, respectful, patient and very organized. I have undergone several surgeries for my wrist and both ulnar nerves. I have had several laser treatments at Dr. Chin's office. My concerns were brown spots on my cheeks and the laxity of my lower face and neck wrinkles. I was started on a laser combination treatment of micro-needling and LaseMD. I am so happy with the results my skin looks great. It is a series of three sessions but worth it.
